Dr. Chris Chen, D.D.S., F.R.C.D.(C) - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon
Dr. Chen received his dental degree at the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto. Subsequently he completed a year long dental internship at the Toronto General Hospital. Dr. Chen obtained his post-graduate specialty in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. He enjoys time with his family and in exercising.
Janice - Certified Level II Dental Assistant/Office Manager
Janice has been with Dr Chen since 2002. She has over 40 years experience in the dental field. Janice is Dr Chen's assistant and the office manager. When not working Janice enjoys her new grandson Ben, spending time with her family, shopping, knitting and walking her dog Murphy.
Sharon - Registered Nurse
Sharon has been a Registered Nurse since 1992 graduating from Seneca College. She has over 4 years experience in oral surgery. Sharon has 3 children and a dog, loves shopping and a has a passion for fashion. She has great patient rapport.
Kiran - Dental Assistant, Intra Oral Level II
Kiran is an Intra oral level II dental assistant, who graduated from Everest college in 2007. She is also HARP certified. She began working at Heartlake Orthodontics in 2013 and feels fortunate to be a part of an amazing team. She loves her job and enjoys helping patients. While her hobbies include shopping, decorating, watching movies, her true passion is her family.
Kristel - Dental Administrator
Kristel is one of the first friendly faces you'll see when you visit our office. Kristel has been working in the dental field since 2006 and has been with us since 2012. She has extensive knowledge about the dental field and will help answer any questions you have about your dental insurance or invoices. She loves meeting new people every day and works hard at helping make sure the office runs smoothly. In her free time, she loves spending time with her 2 boys, family and friends.
